Young Statesman's Reading List For 2009-2010

We so excited to have local author Kirkpatrick Hill speaking to us at our 1st meeting September 17. Ms. Hill is the author of several children's books including The Year of Miss Agnes which the younger group read for book club last year. We are asking that the children come with prepared questions to ask Ms. Hill and it would be helpful if they had read as many of her books as possible before then. Having Ms. Hill speak to us is a real treat, and we are so glad that she has agreed to come. Please, discuss with your children the proper etiquette for this kind of meeting.
Because we are having a guest speaker we will be combing both the older and younger groups for the month of September with both groups meeting at the Ame's house at 7 pm. For a list of Kirkpatrick Hill's books click here.

We are looking forward to another great year. See you soon!
