Family Recital

Family Recital Evening
--Sponsored by --
Interior Alaska Thomas Jefferson Education Group
Come join us for a fun family night were we share what we've been learning this year. There will be a performance program and a finger-food potluck.
The time and place are still being worked out, but we are trying for the beginning of October in the North Pole area.
The purpose of this event is not to show off what we are already skilled at. The purpose is to share what we are learning, and practice skills we are working to improve, in a comfortable setting with friends and family members. Parents, as well as children, are encouraged to participate. Individuals who are not involved with A Thomas Jefferson Education are also welcome to participate.

Ideas for What to Share:

Performance:

Musical performances (instrumental, vocal, solos, groups)

Poetry recitations

Short speeches

Memorized pieces
Family skits

Finger-food Potluck Ideas:

New recipes you've discovered

Culinary creations of your own

Food you have grown, harvested, or hunted

(It isn't strictly limited to finger foods, but only drinks and napkins will be provided. You may bring your own dishes and flatware if desired in order to serve the food you bring.)

*For questions or to arrange to be part of the performance program, please contact Elisabeth Ames at michaelamesak@gmail.com
